Opposite sides of the world.

Okay I am exaggerating a little bit. We are really only on opposite sides of the country. Casey is in San Francisco shooting the World Series and I am in NYC shooting at the Photoplus tradeshow. My schedule starts around 7:30 in the morning east coast and goes until 7pm and Casey starts at 11 in the morning Pacific time and ends in the late evening early morning. So we completely miss each other.

He called me at 3am EST last night and wondered why I was sleeping. Whaaat? I had to be up in 2 hours! 

I am joining Casey in Texas on Saturday. So excited to finally be on the same time zone!

These photos below are from the last time we were in San Francisco. They pretty much sum up our life. Planes and beautiful light. Happiness.

Kerra & David SDE

Kerra became our office manager back at the end of March. She literally changed Casey and my life. She forced us to become more organized both professionally and personally. Our house is so much more organized and it feels more like us. The work she did with us allowed me to take many steps forward in our business and as people. Through all this hard work she wasn't just our office manager but she became one of our very best friends. David (Kerra's fiance at the time, now husband) got a job in D.C. and so they decided to move there after the wedding. Because, their wedding was one of the last days she would be in town, thier wedding was much harder and more emotional than normal weddings. I was fighting back tears the entire time. I care so deeply for Kerra & David and I can't wait to come visit Kerra & David at their new pad in DC later this year!

Since we were coming in the night before from another wedding, we had our good friend Patrick from Stillmotion help us out with this video! We can't thank him enough for all his hard work.

Elizabeth & Jeff Post Wedding Session

Elizabeth & Jeff are pretty awesome. The day after their wedding we went back to the church where they got married and took a few more pictures in and around the grounds. It was amazing having time to just take a moment and really enjoy the quirkiness of this place as well as the beauty and genuine character of Elizabeth and Jeff.

jeff & jenn | love you to the moon

Jeff & Jenn are two of the most kind, loving, warm, engaging people I know. Jeff is a ball of love, he is funny, outgoing and cares so deeply for Jenn. Jenn is his perfect match. She is quieter at first but when you get to know her you find out that she is strong and caring. 

This wedding was so awesome because I really felt like family. It is amazing when we go to a wedding and we are treated like best friends.
