{ONE2ONE} workshop NYC: Natalie & Kelly

Meet Natalie & Kelly, a fierce photography team from NY. They drove all the way down from Rochester (6 hour drive!) to take our one day cinema workshop while we were in New York City. We had such an amazing time with them that I wish we all lived closer to we could get together more. It is an amazing experience to host a workshop in a city like New York, there is so much movement and energy to build off of, its an easy place to let fuel the sparks of inspiration.

Natalie is a fabulous photographer who has been wanting to take her art a step further and add cinema to her creative arsenal. Back in the day, she photographed Kelly's wedding, and thats how their friendship began... They both wanted to take the next step and start learning how to put what was once moments frozen in time now into motion - learning how to incorporate and find story using cinematic techniques & storytelling devices.

We went over a ton of some of our favorite topics in this workshop -- going over storytelling and shooting techniques, business goals, and general ideas & methods on how they can incorporate cinematography/filmmaking into their photography business. Casey and I had an incredible time, and its always fun to do these workshops because we get to meet so many amazing people who want to expand on their passion, creativity, and art form.
