NYC
Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 3:02PM Tweet Wow, Casey and I have been wrapped up in a whirlwind of travel these past couple months, both to places we know and love and to some new ones as well. The first leg of our trip was to Arizona & Florida shooting spring training with MLB, and then straight on a plane to Alaska to shoot the Iditarod with Canon, and then off to New York and Washington D.C. to visit Kerra & David, my mom and sister, and put on two ONE2ONE sessions.
We decided to fly into NYC a couple days early to spend some time with my sister & mom. This was the first time since I was 12 that I had been to new york just for fun, usually we are there for business and we only get a small amount of time to just explore. One of the things I love most about New York is the food. There are so amazing restaurants to experience, even if some are hidden in the nooks :) We also watched performers in central park, took the subway everywhere we went, toured Ellis Island, walked the brooklyn bridge, ate pizza at Grimaldis, went shopping in Grand Central Station and explored at times square at night - which is really cool because there is so much light from all the buildings that the darkness of night almost fades away.
I had so much fun and I can't wait to go on another trip (hopefully my dad will make it next time).
