Lisa & Brian SDE Seattle
Monday, July 26, 2010 at 1:30PM Tweet Danielle and I just got back last night from our 10 day trip to Virginia. We were there working on a project for Canon, USA. We met so many insanely amazing people and we cant thank them enough for sharing their time and working with us. It was amazing getting to see behind the scenes of the company that makes the cameras and lenses we shoot with.
I thought I would share Lisa and Brian's SDE... which we shot a couple weeks before we left out of town. Danielle and I were totally pumped to see Lisa and Brian on the wedding day because It had been over a year since we had seen them. Two days after we first met they moved to Italy (lucky dogs!!!!) and they had been there ever since. So it was awesome getting to hang out with them again and be a part of capturing their day. After the ceremony we had a blast with them and they were totally up for doing all of our crazy ideas.... like trekking across a dock that was a couple waves away from sinking into the lake :)
We had the opportunity to work with Michelle (from Married and More with Michelle) who planned the wedding and we couldnt have pulled off the SDE without her amazing help.
Danielle and I also had the pleasure of shooting alongside our good friends Sarah and Chris Rhoads who photographed the wedding. It was awesome working together and make Lisa & Brian look modeliscious throughout the day :)

Holy WOW Casey. That was absolutely beautiful. You do an amazing job!!!!! Congratulations on art in motion.
beautiful, once again!!!! I don't ever expect anything but that from you guys!! Another gift you guys have is picking the best songs as background music. And being the music lover, and appreciater that i am, I really think that you guys should post the music that you use, maybe the story of how you found it, and why you thought it would fit the couple so well. Because you do.....top every video off with the perfect background!!!!

Awesome job! Really great steadi-cam shots in there :)
Wow, Casey! Your work is amazing. If I may ask, are you flying the 24mm or the 14mm for the steadicam?
Reel Story Films,
Hey, thanks! I am using the 24mm on the 5D.
Nice work as always ;)
Camille,
Thanks! great to hear, I am glad that you enjoyed it :)
Excellent work, I love the tilt shots.
That was just a beautiful, perfectly rounded piece. The shoot/edit of the first look was a particular standout for me.
i don't know if you two remember me, but i'm the officiant that did this wedding. the video you made is so amazing. i'd love to post it on my site as a way for people to see what i do, and also a way to promote you and your work. i already have you listed in my vendor recommendations either way. if you go to my "press & awards" page i have it embedded, but wasn't sure if there was a way to make it more public. if not and i could simply have a code to give people so they could see it that would be great too. in any case i'm thankful for my friendship with michelle engval who introduced me to you both and just want you to know how great you both are. let me know what you think. i hope all is well with you!
peace,
rich
